WiFi Installation & Support

Mesh WiFi Installation

Mesh is the latest innovation in consumer-grade WiFi. It uses multiple routers, or access points, to blanket your home in reliable, blazing fast WiFi. Mesh WiFi is great for large homes where a single router doesn’t reach wall-to-wall, and in cases where WiFi extenders are currently required. As you move through your home, the system will automatically connect your device to the closest access point.
Mesh WiFi Installation includes:

  • Network appraisal to identify mesh WiFi equipment needs

  • Recommendation of a mesh WiFi system

  • Installation and setup of your mesh network

  • Connect computers and other devices to new network

  • Test to make sure there are no dead spots

WiFi Troubleshooting

If your WiFi network is slow, dropping connections, or otherwise unsatisfactory, we can take steps to improve it without a big hardware investment. Some things that can cause poor WiFi performance include:

  • Channel interference, where your neighbors’ WiFi networks are competing with yours, forcing your router to switch channels often

  • Router placement - we can move your router to a different room, or reposition it in the same room

  • Outdated modem - an outdated modem can create a bottleneck. We can install new customer-owned modems or replace one rented from your internet provider.

We will evaluate the state of your WiFi network and make improvements that don’t break the bank.

Wired Ethernet Networking

Ethernet Network Installation

Ethernet installation in existing construction can be difficult, but in some cases the benefits outweigh the costs. Ethernet installation includes:

  • Evaluation of network status and performance

  • Planning for new Cat6 wire pulls

  • Installation of Cat6 ethernet cable

  • Wall plates, low voltage boxes, and wire termination

  • Testing of ethernet performance and connectivity

We will work with you to find the best solution for your needs and budget.
